Piano Life Saver Systems – Humidity Control for Your Piano
Maintaining consistent humidity is one of the most important ways to protect your piano. As a certified installer of Dampp-Chaser’s Piano Life Saver System, I offer upright and grand piano installations throughout Saskatoon and Saskatchewan.
These systems work continuously to regulate internal humidity, helping to:
• Reduce large seasonal tuning shifts
• Prevent soundboard distortion and cracks
• Preserve the condition of felts, hammers, and action parts
• Extend the lifespan of your piano
I also carry replacement pads($12/pair) and Piano Life Saver solution($30-16 oz bottle) for ongoing maintenance.
Grand systems, unlike the upright systems are not enclosed. For better effectiveness an undercover acoustic cloth is recommended. Grands in institutional settings can benefit further from a full length thick cover.
